This week, we're ready for some football, heart health, whiskey and talking statues.

Football fun

There are always extra perks that come with watching the Super Bowl on the Strip, and 20 of them will be at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood on Sunday. A few Bench Warmer Girls will add a sexy touch to the Big Game celebration. They'll sign autographs, mix and mingle and maybe even pose for a photo with you. If you don't know who the Bench Warmer Girls are, well, you need to brush up on your professional sports. They're a group of scantily clad women featured on trading cards. They do some good things, like toy drives and fundraisers. And community outreach to partyers on the Strip. Call 385-2226 or visit cabowabocantina.com if you're interested in attending.

Heart health

You may see red if you visit the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood this month. The mall turned its water fountains red in honor of American Heart Month. The regularly scheduled indoor thunderstorms will still take place at the top of the hour from noon to 11 p.m. every day. All change deposited into the mall's water features through February will be donated to the nonprofit American Heart Association. Last year, Miracle Mile donated $100,000 from its fountains to worthy causes. Today is also National Wear Red Day, and women around the country are asked to wear red to help raise awareness of heart disease.

Whiskey tasting

You know what's supposedly good for your heart? Chocolate. If you love chocolate or whiskey, you should have been at Andre's in the Monte Carlo on Wednesday. Master chocolatier Jean-Marie Auboine was there, passing out fine chocolates to accompany whiskies from around the world. It was Andre's monthly event, Whiskey Wednesday, in which guests pay $25 in advance, $35 at the door, for a two-hour unlimited whiskey tasting.

You can always catch the next Whiskey Wednesday, scheduled for March 7. There won't be chocolate this time, but there will be Jameson whiskey. An ambassador for Jameson will be on hand to talk about, what else? Jameson whiskey. Andre's also has a substantial cigar collection. Doors open at 9 p.m. For tickets, call 798-7151 or go to andrelv.com.

Question

"What happened to Forum Shops' fountain show? We took our company to see it but it never came to life." Jessica, from Henderson

If you've been to the Forum Shops in the past few months, you may have noticed that the Festival Fountain is now just a fountain. The fountain and its animatronic Roman gods made their debut when the Forum Shops opened in 1992. Last year, management took the animatronic part offline while the show was revamped. The show, which featured the god of wine and merriment, Bacchus, coming to life and planning a party with Apollo, Venus and some other Roman gods, was a popular attraction.

A source said that there's no time line for bringing the fountain back to life, and when it does, it may not even be the same show.

But there's always the Atlantis fountain show in the mall's Roman Great Hall. That show debuted in 1997 with phase two of the Forum Shops and features some dramatic stuff. Statues of the gods Atlas, Gadrius and Alia come to life and act out a battle to rule Atlantis, the mythical underwater city. There's a fire in this one. Shows are on the hour starting at 11 a.m. daily.
